Hawaiian Snow Drift PDF Print E-mail

Taken at Waimea Bay, Hawaii on 11/28/08

Surf is the closest we get to snow in Hawaii. When I showed my friends this photo they actually felt sorry for the crab because they thought he was getting washed away by the tide. Little did they know that he was actually using it to his advantage to escape my camera as I followed him closely. I watched as he floated back into the ocean with the foam and casually swam off.

When I sprained my ankle playing basketball and had to use crutches I felt like I was getting washed away and was going to drown but I found that it was actually good for me to slow down my busy schedule and it allowed me to enjoy life more and catching up on things I wanted to do like reading and spending more time with Malia at home. 2 Corinthians 7:16 challenged me to “Rejoice that in all things.”
