The students were outrageously rebellious (and rich), and we found that the only way to reach them was through a patient, daily living witness. Because law and society restricted us from teaching a foreign religion, we had to wait until asked about the “hope within” (I Peter 3:15). These moments were rare but priceless. Our time with 1stBBC was incredible, showing us the true realization of the New Testament churc h through solid teaching, personal fellowship, and count-the-cost evangelism.
